Percepto launches major US expansion with the appointment of VP Sales Robert Mayfield
Percepto, pioneering autonomous inspection by industrial robotics, today announced a major strategic expansion in the North American market with the appointment of seasoned sales executive Robert Mayfield as VP of Sales, North America along with a new headquarters opening in Texas by Q2 2021. The development follows a $45 Million investment led by Koch Disruptive Technologies in November 2020, and the launch of Percepto’s AIM platform, a transformative solution for remote, fully autonomous, asset monitoring, inspection and compliance of industrial sites. Percepto is rapidly increasing its North American presence, relocating SMEs from Israel to the new US headquarters which will include a center of excellence in Texas and hiring commercial and operational team members. With a healthy 2020 growth record, the US headquarters will support Percepto’s existing US client base which includes Florida Power and Light (FPL), Delek US, Verizon and others.
With over 20 years’ experience scaling organizations and driving business growth across an array of companies including BDNA Corporation (acquired by Flexera), Nugenesis Technologies and most recently Sparta Science, Mayfield will lead the US sales team expansion, recruiting enterprise sales professionals and solution engineers nationwide. Additionally, Mayfield will introduce Percepto’s AIM platform to the US market and highlight its many benefits, from driving efficiency across sites without the need for human intervention to the provision of digital data management to alert of risks.
“This is the perfect time to welcome Robert Mayfield to Percepto as our new VP of Sales, North America. In 2021 we are rolling out many new AIM deployments across our existing base and new customers. Since the pandemic struck, further verticals now recognize the need for autonomous inspection alongside our traditional base of heavy industrial sites. Robert is a highly experienced executive with a proven record of driving sales growth and building powerful teams of local sales and engineering experts;we are confident he will lead an exciting phase in Percepto’s US development,” said Dor Abuhasira, CEO and Co-Founder Percepto.
“I’m very excited to be joining Percepto at this time of rapid growth and expansion as we aggressively hire to further build out the North America sales and support team. Our new Operations Center centrally located in Dallas, TX demonstrates Percepto’s commitment to our
existing U.S. customers and will serve as a Center of Excellence to which we can bring prospective new clients,” added Robert Mayfield, VP of Sales, North America, Percepto. “Enterprise customers now recognize the need for a comprehensive solution rather than trying to manage the volumes of unstructured and disparate data generated from manually piloted drones, robots, and sensors. This business need plays directly into Percepto’s sweet spot as we leverage our world-wide leadership Drone-In-A-Box position and experience into the AIM platform.”
