Sean Guerre, Director

Sean Guerre is an experienced Founder/Advisor with a demonstrated history of building communities and working with digital media and live events in Technology, Energy & Workforce markets. He currently serves as Managing Director for the InnovateEnergy communities & Energy Innovators Council, which are the leading resources that deliver digital content, executive insights, thought leadership and real-world use cases in multiple channels for energy technology, venture & digital innovation leaders worldwide. Prior to founding Stone Fort Group, he co-founded TradeFair Group (energy media) which was sold in 2012 to private equity firm Veronis, Suhler & Stevenson. Sean graduated from Stephen F. Austin State University with a BBA/Marketing, lives in Houston with his wife Katy and 2 daughters. He is passionate about launching innovative technology communities, live events, new digital media brands, startups, running, cycling and craft beer. LaDonna Pettit, Event Operations Consultant

LaDonna brings over 30 years of industry experience to Stone Fort Group — including lead roles in sales, marketing, planning & production, DMC, exhibits, tradeshows and A/V — giving her perspective on every aspect of the event business. This contributes to her holistic strategy and allows her to engage an artful approach when launching and building events. She is known for developing strong sales, marketing and conference management teams that are customer centric and creative, together achieving powerful results and learning to love the “mad juggle.” Before SFG, LaDonna’s experience includes 15 years at Four Seasons Hotel & Resorts, as well as positions at Greater Houston Convention and Visitors Bureau, PGI Houston, Freeman and ConferenceDirect. LaDonna has developed conferences across industries, from large, complex productions to intimate meetings, both in the US and abroad.

Julien Dupont, Director of Partnerships

Julien has been an event “super utility” problem solver for more years than he cares to admit. He is an eager student of digital media and how it works in conjunction with live events. Julien likes to get his hands dirty. He has real world working experience in the offshore energy and construction industries. Julien has a BBA/Marketing degree from Stephen F. Austin State University and an MBA in Policy Analysis/Public Affairs from the University of New Mexico. He currently lives outside of Salt Lake City, Utah with his wife and 3 daughters. In his free time, Julien likes to travel, cook, and do anything outside. He also produces a snow ski & travel expo annually in Texas.

Megan Horn, News Editorial Manager

Megan is a copywriter and all-around word nerd. She has written digital content for hundreds of businesses in dozens of industries, including oil and gas, manufacturing, software development and many more. Megan has a bachelor's degree in marketing and an MBA from the University of Northern Iowa. She enjoys keeping up with and sharing the latest news, often with a sense of levity and humor.

Sylvia Ibarra, Web and Marketing Content Producer

With over 10 years of experience, Sylvia has an extensive background in oil and gas and manufacturing. Serving as the Marketing Director for multiple companies, she obtained a wide range of skills from website design to email marketing, social media, graphics, events, communications and more. Sylvia has her Marketing Degree and International Business minor from Montana State University. She is a published author in manufacturing related magazines, has a keen eye for proofreading, and loves learning the latest and greatest online tools to help businesses get organized, be more effective, and grow.
