In this challenging and unprecedented time, we wanted to help provide a resource and voice for our Industrial XR Forum community to share how they are available to assist industrial, engineering and energy organizations, as well as the world at large.

Several people and organizations have already connected with us, letting us know they have the resources to help, and others inquiring about who in our community might be available for XR / collaboration / remote guidance and virtual design & engineering services for their industrial and energy teams.

If your organization or any others you know has great resources available, please let us know, and we will add to this page and pass on relevant information to individuals who are connecting with us to let the community know who is able to assist with their needs.

We will keep the webpage updated as an ongoing resource directory with your solutions, webinars, digital events and more.

  • Augmentir - Augmentir is offering free use of our Remote Assist industrial collaboration software through the remainder of 2020 for manufacturing and service companies that are impacted by the COVID-19 related travel restrictions and work from home policies.   • Guardian Airwaves - Guardian Airwaves offers UI/UX design, product design, and graphics in addition to being a full-stack VR and AR development & production team.   • HTX Labs - Their EMPACT VR Training Platform allows for centralized immersive content management and entitlement-based distribution, supporting a streamlined user experience that is hardware agnostic and enables immersive training to be delivered to many different types of HMDs and end user computing devices. EMPACT also supports a no-code immersive content authoring tool that allows subject matter experts (SME) to capture their expertise as immersive training courses, allowing others to then embody that expert to learn from them.   • Trimble - The Trimble XR10 with HoloLens 2 is a hardhat-integrated HoloLens 2 device purpose-built for workers looking to use mixed reality in safety-controlled environments for workflow such as remote assistance. Demand for the XR10 is very high and supply is limited, both due to COVID-19. We are prioritizing and streamlining all XR10 orders where the device is being used for essential services, especially those directly combating the virus. We are holding stock for these users and can ship immediately. In addition, Microsoft is offering Dynamics 360 Remote Assist for free for 6 months. Dynamics 365 Remote Assist allows technicians to collaborate with colleagues and experts from different locations, reducing travel and resolving some of the immediate obstacles facing us all. A medical clinician or technician maintaining critical equipment in the field, for example, can use Remote Assist on HoloLens, Android, or iOS devices while sharing an in context, real-time view of the work site with an expert working from a different location.
