Strong Lineup of Energy XR End Users and Demos Announced for the 2nd Annual Industrial VR/AR Forum
/The second annual Industrial VR/AR Forum, taking place February 25 - 26 at The Westin Galleria Houston, has updated its agenda to include new sessions and exciting announcements. Several impactful sessions feature leading energy XR end users.
In one keynote, Digital Twins and XR for the industrial & Energy Environment: Driving Tangible Benefits, Simon Evans, Associate Director, Digital Energy Leader with Arup, will discuss how digital twin and innovative data visualization tools are helping large-scale energy and engineering companies use XR to transform design, engineering and construction capabilities.
There will be two major energy / engineering roundtables that include XR leaders from Chevron, ConocoPhillips, Schlumberger, Aggreko and Fluor. Other featured keynotes include speakers from Shell and ExxonMobil, who will be providing insight into their immersive programs.
The Forum additionally looks forward to hosting a live episode of the XR Showdown©, sponsored by ExxonMobil, which will be recorded and featured on Amazon Prime. The showdown is a unique competition created to connect the dots between education / interns, XR technology and the growing enterprise XR community. Future XR leaders will compete in five teams to create new XR solutions for sponsoring companies.

In addition to insightful sessions and programming this year, the Forum has expanded into a two-day event and now includes an Immersion Zone to demo the latest wearables, including VR goggles, AR glasses, haptic gloves, haptic suits and multi-collaborator stations.
