All About BVLOS Waivers

It seems like in the past year, waivers for beyond visual line of sight (BVLOS) waivers have been pouring in. These waivers give pilots in command of a drone the ability to operate, well, beyond their visual line of sight. 

But there’s more to it than that. Waivers state where drones can operate in relation to the pilot in command, in what geography, under what circumstances, and more. 

Several categories of waivers get lumped under BVLOS, including extended visual line of sight (EVLOS), infrastructure masking, and automation.
