Orkid Tech Appoints LGP Aerospace as Exclusive Master Distributor for North America and U.S. Foreign Defense Sales

Orkid Tech, a developer of long-range, NDAA-compliant VTOL unmanned aircraft systems, today announced the appointment of LGP Aerospace as its exclusive master distributor for the United States, Canada, and U.S. foreign defense sales.

The appointment follows an extended period of collaboration as Orkid continues to expand its global operations and scale its presence in North America. Both parties aligned on the creation of a dedicated regional distribution platform to support customers, partners, and programs in this market.

Orkid’s VTOL platforms are distinguished by their satellite-enabled communications architecture, enabling operations well beyond visual line of sight without reliance on terrestrial networks. This capability is critical for ISR, infrastructure monitoring, disaster response, and operations in remote or connectivity-limited environments, and represents a key differentiator for Orkid across government and industrial applications.

LGP Aerospace will lead market development, demonstrations, and long-term customer support across North America and allied programs, serving commercial, industrial, government, and defense operators with a focus on responsiveness and on-the-ground expertise.

LGP Aerospace will pursue a partner-led distribution model, working with qualified regional and industry-specific partners across North America to deliver localized expertise and customer support. Organizations interested in representing Orkid platforms within specific regions or sectors are encouraged to connect with LGP Aerospace.

Orkid’s platforms are already field-proven across Latin America, supporting commercial, industrial, government, and defense missions. Through LGP Aerospace, Orkid will extend this operational experience into North America while maintaining alignment with evolving regulatory and customer requirements.

In parallel, Orkid is leading efforts to expand manufacturing and industrialization in the United States, building on existing U.S.-based assembly, system integration, and flight test operations. This expansion is intended to increase capacity and resilience in support of projected U.S. and allied demand, while maintaining full regulatory compliance.

LGP Aerospace is part of the broader LGP group, whose parent company, Lindeco International Corp., was founded in 1957, bringing decades of distribution and execution experience to the North American aerospace market.
